Receiving and Inventory Associate
Vandergrift, PA (on-site)
Owns inbound receipt and inventory accuracy: carton and pallet intake, dashboard counts, and discrepancy reporting.
About the role
Receiving is where accuracy starts. You take in cartons and pallets across our four loading docks, scan and count units on arrival, and record them against the client dashboard so every SKU in the building is accounted for. When a count does not match the packing list, you document the discrepancy and get it in front of the client the same day. This role suits someone who likes order and gets satisfaction from a set of numbers that reconciles.
What you will do
- Receive inbound cartons and pallets and verify against packing lists
- Scan and count units on arrival and log them to the client dashboard
- Document shortages, overages, and damage with photos and notes
- Stage received inventory for prep or move it to storage locations
- Keep dock and receiving areas clear and safe to work in
What we are looking for
- Comfortable with counts, scanners, and basic spreadsheet or dashboard entry
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate a pallet jack
- Methodical, with an eye for numbers that do not add up
- Reliable attendance and on-time starts
Nice to have
- Forklift experience or willingness to certify
- Background in receiving, inventory control, or 3PL operations
