Core prep work for Amazon and Walmart inbound: polybagging, labeling, bundling, and FNSKU application to marketplace standard.
About the role
Prep associates are the hands that get client inventory ready to ship. You work a station on the floor, moving units through polybagging, labeling, and bundling so shipments meet Amazon and Walmart requirements the first time. Accuracy matters here because a mislabeled unit gets a shipment flagged and costs a client money. We cross-train associates across FBA, FBM, and freight prep, so the work stays varied and you learn the whole operation rather than one repetitive task.
What you will do
- Polybag, label, and bundle units to Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS requirements
- Apply FNSKU labels and cover existing barcodes correctly
- Run quality checks on prepped units before they move to staging
- Keep your station stocked, clean, and organized through the shift
- Flag damaged or non-compliant inventory to your shift lead
What we are looking for
- Able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and stay on your feet for a full shift
- Careful and consistent with repetitive, detail-driven work
- Reliable attendance and on-time starts
- Comfortable learning barcode scanners and a warehouse dashboard
Nice to have
- Prior warehouse, fulfillment, or Amazon seller experience
- Familiarity with FNSKU labeling or polybag suffocation warning rules
About Dispatch Fulfillment
Dispatch Fulfillment started in 2017 as a one-person operation in a Pittsburgh bedroom. Today we run a 20,000 square foot facility in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania with four loading docks and a team of six. We handle Amazon FBA prep, Walmart WFS, FBM and direct-to-consumer fulfillment, warehousing, kitting, and freight forwarding. We are also hazmat certified to DOT 49 CFR and IMDG 172, which very few prep centers can handle.
